Stanley Gordon, CPA
S. Gordon founded the firm in 1978 with a vision for the firm to provide leadership and assistance in the implementation and execution of business initiatives that went beyond simply offering advice. This is where he first articulated the term “entrepreneurial financial services” which became the foundation for the future. Throughout the years, S. Gordon has concentrated on the business sector and high net worth individuals providing clients with business advisory, financial and tax planning advice, and representing and negotiating business and tax matters. The combination of his educational background coupled with years of broad business experience has provided a platform which has enabled him to contribute to the successes of many of the firm's clients.
After working with a broad spectrum of businesses and various business ventures in year 2008, S. Gordon decided to bifurcate his time and pursue an opportunity along with his family to become a franchisee of a well-known national brand where he would develop and operate a portfolio of franchise assets. To this day, S. Gordon still continues to lead the family’s franchise portfolio and continuing to look for growth opportunities.
S. Gordon started his career in public accounting with Harris Kerr Forster, one of the sixteen largest CPA firms in the world. He received both a B.S. in Accounting and an M.S. in Finance from Bentley College. Early in his career, his resume included teaching accounting courses at a local community college, speaking to various organizations on current tax topics and legislation, and authoring several management and tax articles for the firm's in-house newsletters. Also, he has served on many committees and boards of both profit and non-profit organizations. S. Gordon and his family continue to be active supporters of many charitable organizations.
